Outreach

Outreach is the non-profit form of advertising. We don't have enough money to lease a bulletin board near a highway, or even to place an ad in the local paper. Instead, we seek out opportunities to speak about our services within the community we serve. We attend networking meetings, give presentations, and host booths at public events. We also have a program called the Outreach Trek, where we visit other human services agencies (such as doctor offices, schools, and churches) and ask them to distribute our brochures to their consumers. We would greatly appreciate invitations to participate in community events or suggestions for places to visit during our Treks.

If you have a website and are willing to help us get the word out by linking to us, we would appreciate it. The more disabled community members we can help with our services, the better our communities are. The more employers we are able to connect with an able disabled worker, the better our community. If you need a special graphic or logo for your website to use.
