Medicaid Rally

On September 21, 2011, SCRS joined other independent living centers and other organizations throughout the nation who advocate on behalf of seniors and people with disabilities, by taking part in "My Medicaid Matters" rally.  This rally took place in downtown Los Angeles, CA in front of the governors office.  Our objective was to implement awareness to the "Super Committee" which intends to cut financial funding to Medicaid affecting all seniors and people with disabilities.
