SCRS would like to encourage our consumers to express their opinions regarding the Governor's proposed budget cuts. If passed, these cuts will devastate many of the programs our consumers rely on to maintain their independence, particularly Medi-Cal and IHSS. Many people with disabilities will no longer be able to afford health care or personal assistance if the budget proposal passes.
